Love Food is our catering company who provide the children with a variety of choices for their school lunch.

All orders need to be pre booked on Love Food's Booking system the day before and there is a choice for children from the following options; meat, vegetarian, lunch box, jacket potato or salad.  There is also wholemeal and white bread, milk, water, and fruit available to all children each day. 

Children in Ladybirds, Hedgehogs and Badgers receive a free school lunch under the Universal Free School Meal programme, the cost of a meal to everyone else is £2.40 a day.

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

• Income Support
• income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
• Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
• Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)

If you think your child may be eligible to receive free school meals please ask the school office to check your eligibility.  

We are asking that any parents of children with allergies (causes life threatening reaction, ie epi- pen needed) and/or intolerances (that makes your child poorly or causes a non life threatening reaction) that they must fill out a special dietary requirement form (see below).  Please ensure this is completed and handed back to the School Office to ensure we hold all the correct details for each child.  Thank you.
